Free Weekend...Ahhh!

After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I'm ready to relax. My darling husband decided to take the children for the weekend and go away. I have the whole house to myself!! (This is a rare occasion) My sister, mother, and I visited our local quilt shop, Serendipity. Very nice and relaxing....I have dappled in quite a few hobbies and one of them was quilting. Much like doing metalwork, the quilting was also very relaxing and theraputic for me. But I can only have one hobby at a time.

I have been catching up on making new jewelry items....Here is one that I created...I hope to post more later tonight or tomorrow. I am designing items with Valentine's Day in mind. Mostly earrings, because of the down turn in the economy, they seem to be the way to go right now.
