Raffle item for Southeastern Delaware Artist Studio Tour
I'm so elated with joy!! I recently juried for the Southeastern Delaware Artist Studio Tour and found out this past weekend that I was accepted!! WOOHOO!! I could hardly believe the email when I read it. I reread it a second time just to make sure that I had not skipped over the word "not".
The Artist Studio Tour is a self guided tour through studios and galleries of a group of prominent, professional local artists. The weekend following Thanksgiving this group of artists open their studios/galleries to display and share their art. Also, each artist donates a piece of artwork to be raffled with the proceeds going to the local schools art department.
This is a big deal in our area, and is well attended due to the extended holiday weekend. I am honored to be included with such well known artist, and anxious to get to work on some of the pieces that I have sketched out.
At any rate, this is the piece that I have designated to donate for the raffle...I hope that it is well accepted.
