Back to Normal

Seems I got a little carried away with summer! My blog was totally neglected, I didn't take the time to keep up with the blogs I follow, and the only thing visiting my workbench were the crickets and spiders, but all in all, that worked out to be totally fine!

A quick recap...
  • Sun-Kissed was published in the July issue of Bead Trends

available in my Etsy Shop

  • There were several art shows, none a huge success...tears...but every little bit counts, right? Rainy,  100+ temps., and more bad weather kept the attendees away. But, I'm hoping for a really great show this weekend! Keeping my fingers crossed!
  • Had my first trunk show at a local gallery, The Artful Bean, that sells my work.
  • The best part...Spent lots of time, with the fam, at our place in PA.
With September comes a little more structure. We will all go back to work and school, saving the play for the weekend. However, this will allow me to spend more time in my shop, and I will be able to get back to some type of normal schedule.

I'm looking forward to catching up with my blogging buddies, but I still can't believe it's already September and the summer has once again slipped by. How about you?

  3. Welcome back, Shelby! I thought about you so much over the summer, and even on Monday when we drove through DE to go home. I'm glad you had such a fun summer...it sure went by WAY too fast. :-( Yes, it's hard to believe it's already September!

  4. Wow, that bracelet is gorgeous; it definitely shows off your skill. I just started making jewelry this summer; I'm not that good yet but this is really inspirational. I would love it if you checked out my jewelry blog and let me know what you think. I really want to get into working with wires more, but its so difficult for me.
