Hodge Podge

It's been a long time...too long...since I've made a new piece. I've really been jonesing to pull out my wire and get to work on something, with a more rustic, primitive feel. No beads just wire, with no set design in place I started cutting and wrapping and let the wire and my fingers kind of do their own thing while I mindlessly watched.










The bangle has a true rustic look, don't you think? It totally reminds me of a log cabin we stayed in while vacationing in Colorado. It will look great layered, or by itself. Visit my Etsy shop to claim this bracelet for you own.


And more wintry weather. A blizzard today. Freezing, Snowing, and Windy outside, all bundled up inside. I'm sure many of you may be experiencing much of the same. Cozy up and have a great weekend!

    Ahh, thankfully I am on the coast of oregon and had wonderful sunny weather in the high 50's yesterday and light rain today! ;-) I however used to live in Alaska, and know full well the coziness of being warm inside.

    I love the rustic, rugged feel of your bracelet. It reminds me a bit of the Old West! Enjoy the snow, we've had rain in Vegas since yesterday.

    Dang, that is one good-lookin' bracelet. Wireworking is definitely on my list of things to do at some point....but I've convinced myself that I can't afford another project!

    Love your bracelet, it is wonderful being creative with wire, and I think it is cool that it reminds you of a log cabin! Hope your weather warms up for you...must be difficult coping with the snow when you guys aren't used to it!

    Shelby, your last few pieces are each so unique and incredible - from ribbon to wire! I just love this bangle...that free-form wire is just my style! You've outdone yourself again! :-) Are the kids home for the rest of the week?...mine are!
